Come sing with us!

Auditions for 2010-2011 year will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010, 7:30 pm.   Rehearsals for 2010 Christmas concert begin September 13, 2010, and are held every Monday evening, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for the Women's Chorus and 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm for the SATB Chrous, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Woodstock, VA.   If you are interested in singing please contact Dr. Betty Karol Wilson at 540-740-8841 or drbkw@shentel.net.

Membership in the Chorus is open to any singers 14 and older who:

• Enjoy singing in harmony
• Like singing a variety of repertoire from Medieval to Contemporary Choral Music
• Have previously sung in a choir
• Can dedicate time for a weekly rehearsal
• Can match pitch
• Are eager to learn more about singing

What will Happen at an Audition?

• If you have questions, please call 540-740-8841 and ask to speak to Dr. Wilson.

•  Masterworks Chorus SATB choir.  Meets every Monday at 7:30 pm.
•  Masterworks Women's Ensemble. Meets every Monday at 6:30 pm.
•  Masterworks Men's Ensemble.  Meets within the Monday SATB rehearsal time, often beginning at 9 pm.
•  Masterworks Chorale.  Group of 12-16 singers who perform for civic occasions and at smaller venues.  Rehearsal times vary.

While we encourage singers to participate the entire singing season, you may elect to not sing the entire year.
